Jaimie Branch is a key figure in the new Chicago jazz scene. An activist artist, she approaches jazz from a punk angle, with a desire to denounce, to rebel and to free up speech. After having collaborated with some of the biggest names in jazz and made her trumpet talent heard all over the world, she delivers her first personal album with Fly or Die.
